FERDINAND — Total damage was estimated at $2,000 when vehicles collided Monday at Industrial Park Road South and Southview Drive.
Karen Ketzner, 47, Ferdinand, made a right turn from the straight eastbound travel lane in a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer, crossing over the right turn lane in an attempt to turn on to Southview Drive.
Police say that while doing so, the Ketzner Chevrolet struck the driver's side passenger door and quarter panel of a 2006 Pontiac being driven by Livia Boeglin, 20, Ferdinand. Boeglin was eastbound in the right turn lane to turn on to State Road 162 southbound.
Ketzner said she did not look to check the right turn lane before trying to make her turn. Damage was estimated at $1,000 to the Ketzner Chevrolet and $1,000 to the Boeglin Pontiac.
