Vehicles collide at Bretzville Junction

BRETZVILLE — No injuries were reported in a rear-end collision at the Bretzville Junction the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 24.
Christian G. Paeth, 47, Santa Claus, had stopped his northbound 2011 Toyota F.J. Cruiser for a red light on State Road 162 at 7:45 a.m. when the mishap occurred at the highway’s junction with State Road 64, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said Paeth’s Toyota was rear-ended by a 2004 Ford Focus driven by Noah N. Hubert, 18, St. Croix.
Hubert stated his car’s brakes failed.
Total damage was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
