DUBOIS — No injuries were reported after a vehicle-versus-deer collision Sunday morning north of Dubois.
Kayleigh N. VanPelt, 16, Jasper, was driving a 2014 Mitsubishi on State Road 545 when the 6:14 a.m. accident occurred south of State Road 56, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said the VanPelt Mitsubishi sustained grille and front driver-side damage when it collided with a deer that ran onto the highway.
Damage was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
