HAYSVILLE — A wrecker was summoned after a one-vehicle mishap late Thursday evening in Haysville.
Lucas J. Harder, 17, was southbound on U.S. 231 in a 2006 Mazda 3 when the 5:58 p.m. accident occurred at Seitz Street, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department.
Harder stated he encountered a slick spot on the highway, according to the sheriff’s department.
The Mazda went off the west side of the road, entered a ditch filled with rip-rap rock and struck a culvert, according to a deputy.
Damage was estimated to have exceeded $5,000.
