Van totaled in Jasper collision

JASPER — One vehicle was listed as a total loss after a rear-end collision Friday afternoon at Sixth and Carroll streets.
Sarah M. Ferling, 32, Jasper, was westbound on Sixth Street in a 2015 Jeep at the time of the 3:44 p.m. mishap, according to the Jasper Police Department.
Police said Ferling slowed for traffic and, when she did, her vehicle was rear-ended by a 2004 Toyota Sienna driven by Ethan D. Uppencamp, 29, Petersburg.
The Uppencamp Toyota was listed as a total loss while damage to the Ferling Jeep was estimated at $300.
Police cited Uppencamp for following too closely.
