HUNTINGBURG — A motorist’s unsafe start ultimately resulted in his arrest Friday night in Huntingburg.
A Huntingburg Police Department officer stopped a Honda passenger car driven by Javier I. Echeverria Dubon, 29, 710 E. Seventh St., Huntingburg, at 9:15 p.m. after observing Echeverria Dubon rev his car’s engine and screech its tires while leaving a business lot near Fourth Avenue and Main Street.
Police allege Echeverria Dubon was found to have never been licensed.
Authorities booked Echeverria Dubon into the Dubois County Security Center at 10:09 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operator never licensed. He was also cited for unsafe start.
Echeverria Dubon posted bond a short time later.
