Uebelhor named president, CEO for Metcut Research

Metcut Research Inc. announces the promotion of Gregg G. Uebelhor to the position of president and chief executive officer of Metcut Research Inc., effective July 1. In this capacity, he will preside over all three divisions of the corporation — Metcut Research Inc., Cincinnati Testing Laboratories Inc. and Metcut Recherches S.A.S.
Uebelhor has more than 30 years of experience in the material testing industry, including 29 years with Metcut, where he previously held the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer. During his tenure, Uebelhor was responsible for all financial aspects of the organizations and additionally he provided oversight to the Human Resources and manufacturing departments. Metcut is an 100% employee-owned company and is a full-service firm with significant, world-leading experience in testing materials — metals, intermetallics, composites, ceramics and coatings — and in evaluating structural behavior.
Prior to joining the company, Uebelhor worked at Deloitte. He graduated from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He graduated from Forest Park High School, Ferdinand, in 1985.
