The women have been participating in the Turkey Trot for 10 years and Madelyn joined them for the first time. “It’s like a tradition,” Tara said. “We do it every year.” About 260 people registered for this year’s race.

Participants jog down St. Charles Street during the 15th annual Turkey Trot at Health Pointe in Jasper on Thursday. This was the last year the race was hosted by Health Pointe. Next year it will be held in downtown Jasper and organized by Downtown Fitness and Running.
