FERDINAND — Police say a pickup truck improperly passing another truck that did not have an operating turn signal resulted in a Wednesday afternoon mishap.
The 1:15 p.m. accident at Third and Main streets involved southbound pickup trucks, according to the Ferdinand Police Department.
Noah Werner, 27, Jasper, was driving a 1997 Chevrolet pickup truck that did not have an operating signal, according to police. Kenneth Voegerl, 79, Ferdinand, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet pickup that attempted to pass the Werner truck on the right.
Police said the front driver side of the Voegerl truck sustained $2,500 in damage and the back passenger side of the Werner truck had $500 in damage when the vehicles collided.
Neither driver was ticketed.
