JASPER — No injuries were reported after a pickup truck-versus SUV collision Sunday evening at a county road intersection east of Jasper.
Tyler Herzog, 18, Jasper, had been southbound on County Road 330E in a 1970 Chevrolet pickup truck in the moments before the 7:42 p.m. mishap at Schnellville Road, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
Herzog attempted to turn west on Schnellville Road and an eastbound 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander driven by Makayla D. Matheis, 24, Jasper, swerved left to avoid a collision.
A deputy said the passenger-side front of the Outlander struck the passenger-side rear of the Herzog truck.
Damage was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
A Uebelhor & Sons wrecker towed the Matheis Outlander.
