DUBOIS — The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating the driver in a truck-versus-building incident Tuesday in Dubois.
Deputies responded to the report of a truck leaving the scene after crashing into an apartment building at 4201 N. Second St., Dubois, at 3:50 p.m.
The suspect caused about $10,000 in damage to the building, according to the sheriff’s office. No injuries were reported.
Police say the suspect vehicle is a white, 1997 to 2003 Ford F-150 extended cab, stepside pickup that will have front end damage. The truck was described as having “4X4” in gold letters on the side of its bed.
Anyone with information about the driver or the vehicle is asked to contact the sheriff’s department at 812-482-3522. Callers may remain anonymous.
