Trips raise funds for Council of Aging

The Spencer County Council on Aging is hosting fundraising trips through Diamond Tours for 2019.

A trip to San Antonio, Padre Island and the Gulf of Mexico is Sept. 20 through 29 at a cost of $975 per person based on double occupancy. This 10-day trip will include motorcoach transportation, nine nights lodging including five consecutive nights in the San Antonio area, 16 meals (nine breakfasts and seven dinners). The price will include seeing the Gulf of Mexico at Padre Island National Seashore, admission to the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi, Texas, guided tour of San Antonio including the famous Riverwalk Cruise, admission to the famous Alamo and IMAX Theater presentation. Other attractions include The Price of Freedom, admission to the Institute of Texan Cultures and San Antonio Missions and admission to the National Museum of the Pacific War and the LBJ Ranch.

Another trip is scheduled for Dec. 10 through 12 to The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum at a cost of $395 per person based on double occupancy. This trip will include motorcoach transportation, two nights lodging, four meals (two breakfasts and two dinners), admission to the ark encounter in a sea of rainbow colored lights, admission to the Creation Museum and a sightseeing cruise along the Ohio River on a BB Riverboat.
