Trip to Grand Canyon rescheduledJune 12, 2020
Tri-Cap’s Retired Senior Volunteer Program is sponsoring a motor coach trip to the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam through Diamond Tours Inc. from Sept. 10 to 21. The 12-day, 11-night trip will cost $1,367 per person based on double occupancy.
The motor coach will depart from the Jasper Dollar General, 671 Third Ave., Jasper. The motor coach will head west to Denver, Las Vegas, the Hoover Dam on the border of Arizona and Utah, Kingman, Flagstaff, Amarillo and Claremore.
The price includes motor coach transportation, 11 nights lodging, 15 meals (eight breakfasts and seven dinners), admission to the Hoover Dam Visitor Center, the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge, IMAX Grand Canyon Movie, the Historic Route 66 Museum and the Mohave Museum of History and Arts. A guided tour of the Grand Canyon National Park and the Valley of Fire State Park will be included. Also included is a visit to the Eisenhower Presidential Library, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Petrified Forest National Park, the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame and Museum, the Will Rogers Memorial Museum, bus driver and step-on guide gratuities.
Anyone 18 or older is welcome to book this trip. Personal checks or money orders for the trip should be paid to the order of Tri-Cap and sent to P.O. Box 729, Jasper IN 47547-0729. An exact cash payment also will be accepted. Include name, address, contact phone number, roommate (if applicable) and trip destination.
