Tri-Star Basketball

Jasper High School junior and basketball player Jackson Kabrick, right, intercepts the ball from Mason Weisman, 11, of Jasper, during the annual Tri-Star Basketball competition hosted by the Optimist Club of Jasper at Cabby O'Neill Gym on Sunday. The event included participants ages 8 to 13 and the Jasper High School boys basketball team. "They're working on their dribbling, their shooting, and their passing skills," said Myron Foster, chairman of Tri-Star basketball. "Also, it's a big day for them, a fun day for them to intermingle with some of the older kids."
