HUNTINGBURG — The City of Huntingburg Transit System received Tuesday a donation of cloth masks to be used during the COVID-19 pandemic from the Federal Transit Administration. Each mask lasts up to 15 machine washes.
“We are grateful to the FTA and [Indiana Department of Transportation] for the generous donation of face masks for our Transit drivers,” said Huntingburg Transit Department Director Jacque Lueken. “Our first priority is to keep our drivers and passengers safe during this uncertain time, and these masks will allow us to continue offering our services while protecting the health of those we serve.”
