Training Gabriel

Photos by Cheyenne Boone/The Herald
Pamela Daffron of Huntingburg takes the ball from her dog, Gabriel, while playing fetch at the Bark Park in Huntingburg on Thursday. "He's the perfect dog," Daffron said. "I prayed for him and he's my angel, that's why I named him Gabriel." Daffron is training Gabriel to be a service dog for her son, Ethan, who became paralyzed from the shoulders down after a car accident.
