Town debuts iPhone app

From local sources

FERDINAND — The Town of Ferdinand announced Wednesday that its iPhone application, Ferdinand IN, is available.

The app was developed by the town’s website management firm, Indianapolis-based eGov Strategies, and funded through a grant from the Dubois County Community Foundation. It is free to download from the Apple Store.

The smartphone app provides buttons for information related to seven main areas: news, the online action center that allows residents to report concerns, town events, town departments and municipal code, services, social media, and photos.

An Android version of the app is in development.
