Total damage hits $10K in collision

JASPER — Total damage was estimated at $10,000 when pickup trucks collided Tuesday afternoon on Jasper’s west side.
Gerald Hudson, 54, Jasper, was northbound on County Road 350W in a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado when the 5:13 p.m. accident occurred at State Road 56, according to the Jasper Police Department.
Police say Hudson failed to yield the right of way when his Silverado collided with a westbound 2001 Dodge Ram being driven on State Road 56 by Daniel Johnson, 30, Winslow.
Damage was estimated at $5,000 to each truck.
There were no injuries and no citations were issued.
