Timothy A. Nelson, 67, of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, in Martin County.
He was born in Bedford on July 2, 1951, to Dennis and Violet Irene (Jones) Nelson. Tim married Rexanna Stackhouse on October 27, 1972, and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Tim was a 1969 graduate of Shoals High School, a member of Springs Valley Wesleyan Church and had attended Highland Chapel Church in his younger years.
He owned and operated Twin City Lumber from 1981 to 2016.
Tim is survived by his wife, Rexanna Nelson; one son, Alan Nelson (Katrina); one daughter, Joanie Mundy (Mike); one brother , Gerald Nelson (Vicki); one sister, Exzelia Montgomery (Gerald); four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and his step-mother, Grace Nelson, Avon.
The Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home in French Lick. Burial will follow in Highland Chapel Cemetery, West Baden Springs.
Friends may call from 10a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
