A Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, ceremony united in marriage Tiffany Blackgrove and Joshua Murrell, both of Indianapolis. Father Mark O’Keefe officiated at 1:30 p.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntingburg.
Joseph and Norma Blackgrove and James and Mary Ann Murrell, all of Huntingburg, are parents of the couple.
Danielle McPherron, Huntingburg, and Lauren Ellis, Indianapolis, provided music for the ceremony.
Jackie Blackgrove of Charlestown and Maria Rasche of Jasper were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Mutchman of Huntingburg, Samantha Deitz of Mooresville and Claire Fisher of Rochester, Ill. Miniature bride was Mya Blackgrove, Huntingburg.
Mr. Murrell chose Jared Weyerbacher of Indianapolis and Ian Reinhart of Johnston City, Ill., as best men. Groomsmen were Nathan Drake of Indianapolis, Brandon Murrell of Frederick, Md., and Jeramiah Murrell of Huntingburg. Ushers were Chase Haller of Indianapolis and Derek Springston of Longmont, Colo. Gabriel Murrell of Frederick, Md., was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the St. Anthony Community Center.
The bride, a 2006 graduate of Southridge High School, Huntingburg, received a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2010 and a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2012 from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. She is a registered nurse at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis. Mr. Murrell graduated from Southridge High School in 2004 and is employed by 21st Amendment Wine and Spirits.
