JASPER — A holiday dine and dance is planned for Saturday, Dec. 29, at the Historic Calumet featuring the return of the Duke Boys.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the meal being served at 6:30 p.m. Entertainment will follow after the meal.
The meal includes 11⁄4 inch-thick barbecued pork chops, fried chicken, red potatoes, two sides, desserts, coffee, tea and lemonade. Mixed drinks, wine, beer and soft drinks will be available at the cash bar.
The Calumet, located at 2210 N. Mill St., Jasper, has been restored and upgraded. The Duke Boys last played the
Calumet in the 1990s and are excited about their return to the Calumet stage to take a trip down to take memory lane.
Advance sales only will be available, or while tickets last, until Dec. 15. Reserved tables for eight are available for an additional table fee. Tickets are $40 each.
Tickets are available at the Jasper Chamber of Commerce and select businesses. Contact Gary Schnell at 812-631-3147 or Mike Ackerman at 812-630-8756.
Sponsored by the Jasper Strassenfest Committee and the Jasper Deutscherverein, this dine and dance is for the primary benefit of Dubois County Tourism toward the purchase of a portable stage for use at area county and community festivals.
