Three Jeeps named All-Blue Chip

Northeast Dubois baseball players Cameron Riecker, Kristopher Weisheit and Jacob Gress have been named to the All-Blue Chip Conference team, which was released Thursday.

Riecker hit .667 (12-for-18) in Blue Chip games to lead the league; the senior also led the league in doubles with six. Likewise, Gress’ two triples were tops among Blue Chip players and Weisheit led the league with 10 stolen bases.

Jeep junior Reid Haas earned a spot on the honorable mention team.

Other position players named first-team All-Blue Chip were Barr-Reeve’s Adam Graber, Seth Swartzentruber, Trevor Yoder and Logan James, Vincennes Rivet’s Zach Templin, Gavin Benock and Collin Wirth, North Knox’s Chris Graman and Shanson Lamb, South Knox’s Landon Robbins, Loogootee’s Casey Miller and Skylar Veilleux of Shoals.

Northeast Dubois finished 5-2 in Blue Chip play to finish third behind Rivet and Barr-Reeve, who both went 6-1 to share the title.
