Thomas J. Flick, 78, Jasper
October 27, 2020Thomas J. Flick, age 78, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 5:15 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, in Brookside Village in Jasper, Indiana.

Tom was born in Jasper, Indiana, on January 19, 1942, to Lamar "Chick" and Ardella (Eckert) Flick. He married Ruth Merder on June 23, 1962, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.
Tom was a 1960 graduate of Jasper High School and served in the United States Army National Guard.
He was the owner of the Mill House Restaurant in Jasper for over 30 years.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, American Legion Post #147, Jasper Moose, and the Holy Name Society.
Tom enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, gardening, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with family and friends, and was also an avid St. Louis Cardinal's fan.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Flick, Jasper, IN, one daughter, Kim (Mark) Messmer, Jasper, IN, two sons, Tim (Stephanie) Flick, Jasper, IN, Todd (Sherry) Flick, Indianapolis, IN, 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one brother, Richard "Dick" (Judy) Flick, Evansville, IN.
Preceding him in death are one sister, Patty Taber and an infant brother, Kenny Flick.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas J. Flick will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, Indiana. The American Legion Post #147 will conduct military grave site rights.
A visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or a favorite charity.
