Theodore “Ted” Edward Kearby, 92, of French Lick, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 2, 2018.
He was born in Orange County on January 9, 1926, to William E. and Sylvia (Cox) Kearby. Ted married Mary O. Walters on February 1, 1946, and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Richard, John and Charles Kearby.
Ted was a 1945 graduate of French Lick High School and retired from U.S. Steel in Gary, Indiana after 39 years.
Ted is survived by his wife, Mary O. Kearby, French Lick; one son, Paul Kearby (Debi), The Villages, Florida; one daughter , Linda Walker (Jack), Valparaiso; one sister, Mary Alice Stanley (Bob), French Lick; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren
The Funeral Ceremony will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home in French Lick. Burial will follow in Patoka Memorial Cemetery, French Lick.
Friends may call from noon until time of service Thursday, December 6, 2018, at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home in French Lick.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home 9640 W. State Rd. 56 French Lick.
