The Know Pose

Jacey Booker, 7, from left, Izabelle Hollingsworth, 9, Ryla Czerwinski, 8, and Haddie Hollingsworth, 6, all of Jasper, practiced yoga poses Wednesday afternoon at the Jasper Public Library Annex. Amanda Gamble, a registered yoga instructor with Fire Horse Yoga Studio in Jasper, taught 13 children various poses and breathing exercises during the hour-long class. “I thought this would be great to use with kids in the school system,” said Gamble, a school psychologist who uses yoga during the school year. “Teaching mindfulness and breathing exercises helps with stress.”
