Jason “Jay” Terwiske is seeking the Democratic nomination for Madison Township Trustee.
Terwiske, 46, is a lifelong Ireland resident. He has worked for Dubois County 911 Communications Center for 23 years. He and his wife of 22 years, the former Ann Jerger, own J&A Properties of Jasper.
Terwsiekd is a 1985 Jasper High School graduate and 2004 graduate of Vincennes University Jasper Campus with a degree in business management.
Terwiske is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland, the Ireland Knights of Columbus and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He is also on St. Mary Church picnic committee and is a former member of the Ireland Volunteer Fire Department.
The Terwiskes, who reside on Killarney Court, have three children: Miranda, 19, Erin, 17, and Ryan, 12. The family has hosted several exchange students from Germany and Spain.
