Terry Wayne Petry, 60, of Huntingburg, passed away at 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at The Waters of Huntingburg.
He was born January 19, 1958, in Huntingburg to Clarence and Sylvia (Mathies) Petry.
Terry was a factory worker.
He enjoyed engine repair, shooting matches, playing horseshoes, gardening and canning; and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rita Petry, who died in 2012; and his brother-in-law, Randy Hawkins.
He is survived by four children, Jason Lamkin of Birdseye, Dustin (Teaha) Petry of Huntingburg, Brandon Lamkin of Birdseye, and Clarence (Bradi Jo) Petry of Birdseye; ten siblings, Curt (Geri) Petry of Bretzville, Connie (Nick) Sherman of Huntingburg, Patty (Allen) Hedinger of Grandview, Danny (Marcia) Petry of Jasper, Barbara Hawkins of Huntingburg, Teresa (Tim) Schneider of Huntingburg, Loretta (Chris) Resenbeck of Ferdinand, Kelly Petry of Jasper, Denise (Tim) Poehlein of Holland, and Ruben (Vanessa) Beard of Huntingburg; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services for Terry Wayne Petry will be held at noon, on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg, with burial to follow at the Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye, Indiana. Reverend Albert Madden will officiate at the service.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 9 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, the day of the funeral.
