Tenth Street has last spelling bee

JASPER — Tenth Street Elementary School conducted its annual spelling bee on Dec. 17.

Each fifth-grade classroom had an internal competition to determine their top two spellers, who would be eligible for the school-wide competition. Winning this honor through his or her individual classroom competition were Nicolas Aguilera, Camden Bonner, Sutton Brosmer, Maddex Garrett, Aanias Jackson, Cody Krips, Liam Lowery, Joselin Miranda Villalta, Vanessa Ramirez Acosta, Addison Schnarr, Jett Springer and Maleah Vonderheide.

Nicolas Aguilera from Mrs. Pfau’s class and Camden Bonner from Mrs. Griffin’s class became Tenth Street Elementary School’s champion and runner-up, respectively. Nicolas is the son of Brehan Leinenbach. Camden is the son of Andy and Michelle Bonner.
