Teddy Leon Foster, 71, Jasper
June 10, 2020Teddy Leon Foster, 71, of Jasper, passed away at 4:37 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Evansville.

Ted was born in Pike County on April 10, 1949, to Noble and Mary Helen (Traylor) Foster. He married Linda (Kluemper) Foster on March 10, 1973, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. She preceded him in death on June 23, 2015.
He was a United States Army Veteran where he drove a tank during the Vietnam War. He was awarded The Purple Heart.
Ted worked at JOFCO (JSI) for over 40 years where he later retired.
He was a member of the VFW Post #673, Jasper Moose Lodge Post #1175, and the American Legion Post #147.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and tinkering with projects around the house.
Surviving are his one daughter, Shelly Foster, Jasper; two sons, Derek Foster, Jasper, and Jamie (Elisha) Foster, Jasper; five grandchildren, Haleigh, Jordan, Ashton, Adilynn and Ryker Foster; and one brother, Charles Douglas (Diana Joe) Foster.
Preceding him in death besides his wife are his parents, Noble and Mary Helen Foster; two brothers, James and Thomas Foster; and two sisters, Shirley Morton and Ethel Kelley.
A private Mass of Christian Burial for Teddy Leon Foster will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. The VFW will perform graveside rites.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity or the wishes of the family.
