Teachers association awards scholarships
May 14, 2020The Jasper Classroom Teachers Association has awarded $750 scholarships to two students.

Kaitlyn Henke, daughter of Chris and Julie Henke of Jasper, plans to attend Indiana University to study business. She was a member of the soccer, unified track and dance teams while also participating in a Riley dance marathon, Student Council, Natural Helpers, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and National Honor Society, and was a bat girl. She is a WyldLife leader and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Laura Gobert was a member of the volleyball team and served as a bat girl. She also was a member of the Student Council, National Honor Society, Octagon Club and Student Athletic Advisory Committee. She belongs to St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is the daughter of Terry and Caroline Gobert of Jasper. She will attend the University of Southern Indiana to study public relations and advertising.
