JASPER — Total damage reached $8,000 when SUVs collided early Monday afternoon.
Samira J. Fehribach, 43, Huntingburg, was westbound on Eighth Street in a 2007 Toyota RAV4 when the 12:33 p.m. mishap occurred at Jackson Street, according to the Jasper Police Department.
Police said Fehribach turned south onto Jackson Street, failing to yield, and her Toyota struck a southbound 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Audrey L. Wagner, 32, Jasper.
Damage was estimated at $5,000 to the Fehribach Toyota and $3,000 to the Wagner Chevrolet.
An officer cited Fehribach for failure to yield the right of way.
