BRETZVILLE — A witness helped a deputy sort out a Wednesday afternoon collision pitting two SUVs at the Bretzville Junction.
Bobby D. Hotsinpiller, 57, Birdseye, was eastbound on State Road 64 in a 1998 Jeep Cherokee when the 3:59 p.m. mishap occurred at State Road 162, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department.
A deputy said the Hotsinpiller Jeep collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox after the westbound Chevrolet driven by Elfrieda A. Oeding, 73, Ferdinand, attempted to turn southbound on State Road 64.
Oeding failed to yield to Hotzinpiller’s vehicle, causing the collision that resulted in total damage estimated at $8,000.
A Berg’s Garage wrecker assisted.
