SUV-vs-deer collision damages Toyota

ST. ANTHONY — An SUV was able to be driven from the scene of a Tuesday morning collision with a deer just west of St. Anthony.
Joyce Manken, Celestine, was eastbound on State Road 64 in a 2014 Toyota SUV when the 6:34 a.m. accident occurred west of Club Road, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said the Manken Toyota collided with a deer that came onto the highway from the south.
Damage was estimated between $2,000 and $5,000.
