FERDINAND — No injuries were reported in an SUV-versus-passenger car collision Monday on Ferdinand’s north side.
Charlene Urbancic, 60, Ferdinand, was eastbound on 18th Street in a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox when the 7 p.m. mishap occurred near the 18th Street Park entrance, according to the Ferdinand Police Department.
Police said Urbancic attempted to turn north onto Northview Drive but misjudged and turned too sharply.
The Urbancic SUV struck a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu that was stopped at the stop sign facing south. Police said the Malibu was driven by Theresa Schwartz, 56, Ferdinand.
Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
Damage was estimated at $1,200 to the Urbancic Equinox and $1,000 to the Schwartz Malibu.
