SUV overturns at Sendelweck Curve

HAYSVILLE — An Orange County motorist escaped injury when the SUV she was driving crashed and overturned Friday on Sendelweck Curve.
Mona K. Goff, 81, French Lick, was eastbound on State Road 56 in a 2007 Kia SUV when the 10:27 a.m. accident occurred east of County Road 175E, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
When Goff entered the curve, a deputy said, she reported that her vehicle’s wheels slid on the wet pavement. The Kia overturned on an embankment and stopped on its top.
The crash totaled the vehicle, according to a deputy.
A Dr. Auto wrecker assisted at the scene.
