IRELAND — No injuries were reported after an SUV failed to negotiate a curve Thursday afternoon along a county road on the west side of the county.

Deputies reported Morey failed to negotiate a curve and her SUV exited the north side of the roadway. The Explorer ended up on its side facing north, according to the sheriff’s department.
Morey told deputies she had tried to slow for the curve but her vehicle’s brakes did not work well. The Explorer slid and landed in a roadside ditch.
Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
A Ruxer Ford wrecker assisted.
