SUV damaged in deer collision

DUBOIS — Total damage exceeded $5,000 in an SUV-versus-deer collision Tuesday morning east of Dubois.
Morgan A. Seng, 24, Dubois, was westbound on State Road 545 in a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe when the 7:10 a.m. accident occurred near County Road 330N, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said the Seng SUV collided with a deer that came onto the highway from the north.
The vehicle was able to be driven from the scene. The deputy was unable to locate the deer.
