SUV collides with tree

JASPER — No injuries were reported when an SUV collided with a tree early Sunday in the Beaver Lake area.

Christina Terry, 32, Jasper, was driving a 2014 Jeep Cherokee on County Road 315E at the time of the single-vehicle mishap at 12:45 a.m., according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.

Terry was backing up and the SUV slid on loose gravel, according to a deputy.

Damage from the collision with a tree that resulted was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
