JASPER — Police accused an individual of several criminal offenses after responding to a public intoxication report early Sunday.

The 2:17 a.m. dispatch sent the Jasper Police Department to Northwood Avenue and St. Charles Street where Karlee K. Tarvin, 22, 1146 W. 36th St., Jasper, allegedly became combative and kicked an officer.

Police reported that Tarvin’s blood alcohol content allegedly tested .186%.

Authorities booked Tarvin into the Dubois County Security Center on preliminary charges that included a Level 6 felony count of battery on law enforcement and misdemeanor counts of resisting law enforcement and public intoxication.
