Super Strikes: The show must roll on
March 22, 2020Mentors for Youth’s signature fundraiser, Super Strikes, has been held for over 30 years, and the organization fully intends to host this event in 2020, but the date is currently uncertain.
“We are encouraging teams to still register,” says Executive Director Ellen Corn. “Teams can still register and fundraise online. We have a new online fundraising platform that makes fundraising easier than it has been in the past.”
Teams can register online at www.mentors4youth.com and donations to teams can also be made online at: https://givebutter.com/super-strikes-2020
“Our local kids need us more than ever,” says Kaiva Hurt, case manager. “We’re still hoping for a record breaking Super Strikes.”
“Unlike many nonprofits, Mentors for Youth does not receive any state or federal money,” says Corn. “We are fully supported by the community and we are confident that Dubois County will continue their unwavering support of local youth.”
Mentors for Youth would like to thank the community for “being the difference, the change, the good.”
