Super Saturday

Ella Wagner of Jasper, 8, reacted after Mackenzie Jacob of Birdseye, 9, poured more red paint than she intended on a plate during a painting workshop at the Purdue Extension’s Super Saturday at the Dubois County 4-H Fairgrounds in Bretzville. “I thought it was insane,” Ella said. “That was a lot of paint.”

 

Trinity Foll of St. Anthony, 9, held a paper with the words "I love my grandmaw" to make into a button.

 

Riley Steinmetz of Ferdinand, 10, focused on her clover painting Saturday. "It's really fun to watch (the participants) engage and be excited about something," said 4-H extension educator Jenny Monarch McGuire.

 

Lauren Klem of Huntingburg, 11, made a tote bag with the help of Carol Libbert of Huntingburg.

 

Zoie Warner, 10, right, her sister Ani, 6, and Ally Wagner, 6, all of Jasper, participated in the tin punch workshop.
