Sunday morning power outage planned for Ferdinand

FERDINAND — The Ferdinand Electric Department is notifying the public of a planned power outage for Sunday morning as part of the department’s transition to a new electric substation. 

Power will be shut off from 4 to 8 a.m. Sunday and will affect most customers located between Fifth and 18th streets. Customers not impacted by the outage include residents of the trailer court, 13th Street from Ninth to Kentucky street, Kentucky Street, the Community Campus (Community Center, Ferdinand Branch Library, Tri-County YMCA), Ranger Mart, Homestead Pizza and Keith Fritz Fine Furniture.
