Substance abuse council awards grants

The Dubois County Substance Abuse Council has awarded $20,886 in grants to be used by grantees in 2019.

The council receives funds from conviction user fees to fund local efforts to reduce substance use. 

Grant recipients include Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center, the Dubois County Medication Collection, LifeSprings (formerly known as Southern Hills), the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department, Dubois County Probation, Dubois County Community Corrections, Dubois County Drug Court, the Ferdinand Police Department, Forest Park High School, the Huntingburg Police Department and the Jasper Police Department.
