Street work pushed to Saturday

From Local Sources

JASPER — Due to the inclement weather earlier this week, the Jasper Street Department and contractor Pavement Solutions delayed the micro-surfacing project by one day, thus having to schedule the final day for Saturday.

All residents on the affected streets will be required to have all vehicles removed from the streets and their driveways no later than 7 a.m. Saturday.

Each street will remain closed until the surface has dried appropriately, approximately five to six hours, depending on drying conditions.

The streets affected are: St. John Street from Ninth to 10th street, Clearview Avenue from Justin Street to Cul-de-Sac (south half), Heusler Street from Maute Street to the West End and Heusler Street from Maute Street to the East End.
