Stolen truck located in Kentucky

From Local Sources

HUNTINGBURG — A truck reported stolen during the weekend was found Tuesday in Kentucky.

The Huntingburg Police Department received a report Sunday of a white 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 series extended cab with black spray-painted rims being stolen between 2:30 and 10:30 a.m. that morning.

The keys were not in the vehicle at the time of the theft, police reported Monday.

Assistant Chief Brad Kramer said the truck was located in Henderson County, Kentucky. It was in all right shape, he added, but a portion of the white truck’s passenger-side bed is now spray painted black.

The truck is currently in the Huntingburg Police Station’s garage where it will be processed.
