Stewards of Children sets training seminarFebruary 18, 2019
JASPER — The public is invited to attend a training seminar presented by Stewards of Children from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at Jasper Middle School.
Stewards of Children will provide attendees with the knowledge to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.
Child sexual abuse is likely the most prevalent health problem children face, with the most serious array of consequences. In fact, one in 10 children will experience sexual abuse before their 18th birthday.
This means that whether you work with youth, are a parent, or are simply a member of a community, it is highly likely that someone you know or care for has experienced, or is currently experiencing, child sexual abuse.
Reservations may be made by calling 812-482-2227 or sending an email to email@example.com.
