Stephen G. Meyer, 65, of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019, in rural Ferdinand.
Stephen was born in Ferdinand on January 18, 1954, to Charles & Patricia (Seufert) Meyer.
He was a 1972 graduate of Forest Park.
Stephen retired from Geological Information Systems as a mapping technologist.
He enjoyed sports, photography, outdoors, electronics, engineering, traveling and getting together with family. He climbed many mountains above 14,000 feet in Colorado.
Surviving are one daughter, Claire Devon Meyer of Boulder, Colorado; one brother, Duane T. Meyer of Portersville; one sister, Jackie (Scott) Kempf of St. Anthony; three nieces; and one nephew.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Patricia Meyer.
The family is requesting no visitation. The immediate family celebration of life will be private.
