Stella Ilene Moffatt, 76, of West Baden Springs, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2019, at her home.
She was born in Jennings County on February 27, 1943, to George Ferguson and Zora Mary Mitchell.
Stella married C. Sam Moffatt on August 9, 1976, and he preceded her in death on March 11, 2018.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert Fleenor; three sisters, Mary Tilford, Carolyn and Frances Ferguson; and one brother, Richard Ferguson.
Stella was a member of Hilltop Pentecostal Church and worked at Moffatts General Store for many years.
She is survived by one daughter, Roberta Lee Caudill (Jack), Freetown; one son, Marion “Butch” Ora Tilford, Seymour; one sister,Elizabeth Robbins, West Baden Springs; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren
A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 22, at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home. Interment will follow in White’s Chapel Cemetery in Spraytown at 1 p.m.
Friends may call Friday, March 22, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Service in French Lick.
