Stanley K. Bonifay, 87, Huntingburg

Stanley K. Bonifay, age 87, of Huntingburg, passed away at 1:15 a.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Willowdale Village Nursing Home in Dale.

He was born August 14, 1933, in Pensacola, Florida, to Rudolph and Evelyn (Jackson) Bonifay; and married Eva Mae Cress on April 10, 1974, in Fairmont, West Virginia. Stanley was a retired electrician and member of the I.B.E.W. union and Petersburg V.F.W. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Eva Mae Bonifay, who passed away December 25, 2010.

He is survived by five children, Wendy (Richard) Hall of St. Augustine, Florida, Aimee Tucker, Stanley K. (Cyndi) Bonifay, Jr., Andy Bonifay and Joe (Lisa) Bonifay, all of Pensacola, Florida; two step-children, Lisa Ann (Jeff) Newton and Lynn (Brian) Schroer, both of Evansville; one brother, Stephen Bonifay of South Port, Florida; two sisters, Louise Born and Helen Humphreys, both of Pensacola, Florida; and by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Stanley K. Bonifay will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.S.T., Saturday, January 30, 2021, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery with military graveside rites being conducted. Pastor Zachary Korff will officiate the service.
