St. Mary Church Dedication

Deacon Garrett Braun lights a candle during the dedication for the new St. Mary Church in Ireland on Sunday. "It's been such a long hard three years to get to this point," said Construction Manager Pat Gress. "The realization that we'll be worshiping here from now on, it's pretty surreal."  Parishioners gathered in the new church on Sunday for Mass with Bishop Joseph Siegel. It's the first new church the Catholic Diocese of Evansville has built in a decade.
